UAE elected to World Health Assembly Executive Board

The UAE has been elected member of the Executive Board of the World Health Assembly at its recently concluded 72nd session which was held in Geneva, Switzerland. The UAE will serve a three-year term in the 34-member body. The board holds two meetings during the year, one in January and the other in May. 10,000 Local and Resident Families Took Part in the Survey

Alya Zaid Harbi, Director of MoHAP's Statistics and Research Center, stated that the national health survey kicked off in October 2017, under the theme “My Health is a Priority”. 10,000 families including both residents and locals took part in the survey with a high response rate of 94%.
