In conjunction with the activities of the UAE Innovation Month “Emirates Innovates 2024”, the Training and Development Center at the Emirates Health Services Foundation organized an interactive workshop in cooperation with Amazon recently to support the achievement of the organization’s innovation strategy and implement innovative projects that support health care, with the participation of the organization’s leaders. And innovation diploma graduates from the Foundation’s employees, members of the Foundation’s Youth Council, directors of hospitals and departments, external partners, and directors of universities and academic institutions.
This interactive workshop aims to develop initiatives and activities that support the organization in achieving the goals of its innovation strategy for the 2023-2026 cycle, by enhancing the sustainability of the healthcare sector and enabling it to contribute to achieving the National Strategy for Quality of Life 2031 and the national vision “We are the Emirates 2031”, leading to achieving The goals of the UAE Centennial 2071, as the Foundation participates in conjunction with “Emirates Innovates 2024” with a wide and diverse package of interactive activities, workshops and lectures that aim to enhance capabilities and honor the distinguished initiatives of innovators.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarouni, Acting Executive Director of the Financial Sector and Support Services at the Emirates Health Services Corporation, confirmed that this workshop organized in cooperation with Amazon reflects the Corporation’s commitment to promoting development in the field of health services and empowering the capabilities and skills of its medical and administrative staff, through exchanging experiences, transferring knowledge, and reviewing best practices in developing institutional innovation, as the workshop provides the opportunity to explore innovative solutions and modern technical applications that can contribute to improving the quality of health services.
In turn, Dr. Kalthum Al Balushi, Chief Innovation Officer and Director of the Corporation’s Training and Development Center, explained the importance of cooperation with strategic partners in achieving development and continuous improvement in the health services sector, noting that the Corporation is keeping pace with the state’s directives regarding unifying efforts to work towards spreading a broad culture of innovation. In addition to enhancing the country’s position as a global center for innovation, by highlighting the role and importance of innovative reality in developing the health sector.
