Aster DM Healthcare and GEMS Education have announced a strategic partnership aimed at promoting children’s health and well-being across the UAE. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to integrating health and wellness into the educational experience, impacting over 140,000 students, 25,000 staff members, and 110,000 families within the GEMS network.
As the official Health and Wellness Partner for 45 GEMS schools, Aster DM Healthcare will introduce a comprehensive 12-month Health and Wellness Programme. Aligned with GEMS’ BEYOND100 movement, the initiative adopts a “Catch Them Young” approach, aiming to instill healthy habits in students from an early age. The programme encompasses workshops, awareness campaigns, and activities focusing on nutrition, fitness, mental health, preventive healthcare, and overall well-being.
A key feature of the programme is the ‘Teacher’s Thursday’ concept, offering exclusive benefits such as special discounts, fast-tracked appointments, and dedicated events for teachers and their families, including extended family members abroad. Additionally, AI-powered learning tools will be introduced to make health education more engaging, and Student Health and Wellness Ambassadors will be appointed to promote wellness among peers. Parents will also be involved through expert talks and insights on the latest global developments in children’s health.
