Dubai reaffirmed its position as a global hub for health and wellness tourism with the successful hosting of the inaugural Health Tourism & Medical Odyssey (HTMOC) on September 16–17, 2025, at the Sofitel Dubai Wafi. Organized by Agora Group, this exclusive event attracted over 120 delegates from around the world, including government officials, insurance companies, leading medical and rehabilitation centers, and medical tourism agencies.
HTMOC distinguished itself as a results-driven sales platform, facilitating impactful connections and delivering measurable outcomes. A highlight of the event was the keynote address by Mohamed Al Mheiri, Director of the Health Tourism Department at the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The program also featured a panel discussion on the “Dubai Metaverse Strategy,” exploring the city’s achievements in attracting over 1,000 companies in blockchain and metaverse fields and its ambition to support more than 40,000 virtual jobs by 2030.
