The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate, has launched Sahatna Space on TAMM, marking a pivotal step toward a smart, intelligent, and citizen-centric health system. This integration enables residents to access healthcare services seamlessly via the same digital platform used for a wide range of government services, fostering a more holistic approach to health management.
Since its debut at GITEX 2024, Sahatna has quickly become one of the leading health applications on Google and Apple Play stores, attracting over 1 million users within its first year. Its evolution into Sahatna Space embeds healthcare services directly into TAMM, positioning health at the center of Abu Dhabi’s digital government ecosystem.
Through Sahatna Space, residents can register with primary care providers, book appointments, manage prescriptions, access medical records, complete self-assessments, and explore wellness tools, health articles, events, and maternity care features—all in one platform. Upcoming services include AI-powered health assistance, IVF services, and personalized health recommendations, further advancing proactive and predictive healthcare in Abu Dhabi.
His Excellency Ibrahim Al Jallaf, Executive Director of the Digital Health Sector at DoH, said: “The launch of Sahatna Space on TAMM reflects our vision for an intelligent health system that is proactive, predictive, and personalised. By integrating healthcare into the platform residents already use for daily needs, we are removing barriers, empowering individuals, and setting a new global benchmark for citizen-centric digital health.”
His Excellency Saeed Al Mulla, Director General of Customer Experience Affairs at the Department of Government Enablement, added: “Sahatna Space on TAMM exemplifies Abu Dhabi’s commitment to designing government around people’s needs and delivering effortless experiences. By bringing healthcare into the same ecosystem used for hundreds of daily interactions, we are strengthening a seamless, unified, and connected customer experience for every resident.”
