India launches national tele-mental health program

The Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of India has formally launched this week its national tele-mental health program. Called Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across States (Tele-MANAS), it will provide free, round-the-clock teleconsultation service for mental health concerns.
